For some people, relocation can be a difficult time. Moving away from friends, family, routine, and familiarity can result in feeling anxious, isolated and filled with self-doubt. For others, once settled new difficulties can arise such as job stress, marital problems, and identity issues just to name a few. Many find speaking with a professional counselor who has also been through the process of moving abroad to be an invaluable resource.
Some of the issues I work with include: Self-Esteem, Anxiety, Loss of Purpose, Job Related Stress/Burnout, Relationship Problems, Family Discord, Behavioral Issues with Children, and more.
My theoretical approach is client-centered, attachment-based psychotherapy.
